The Midnite Train

The darkness flows
With the distant lights
Of the stars above.....

All aboard
As the last call
Was heard......

The train was full
As always,it seemed.......

The dimness of shadows
From little of light......

Whispers to one another
"Where are we to go"
No one really knew......

The mystery brought forth
These people on this train.......

I have not forced you
Or neither
Did you not complain.......

The darkness outside
As the train moved
Ever so slow......

Shadows of things
You might have seen
You glance back
As nothing
Seems to appear.......

Quite whispers among us
As if we were to awake......

The conductor walks
The floor
Only to look you
In the face......

What is this
He wants of me
As he looks at you
No more.......

Not a word was said
Has he walked
Towards the door.......

We hear the sounds
Of the engines
As if to make
A huge roar.......

Picking up speed
As if the past
Mattered no more......

As I see the faces
Of people
Their eyes are of dark
As if no soul......

Now I remember
I have been here before
The destination
I did not want to see.......

All on this train
With ticket in hand
Was written
For a one way
A far away land......

One way ticket only
A ticket to hell......

I asked the conductor
As he walked by
Please sir
Am I to go back......

He was startled
As he looked
Nobody usually asked........

This train is always full
Always has been booked.......

He glanced ahead
Behind him too
Looked at my ticket
Then told me so.......

I see you have
Rode this train before
Where we are going
They need you no more......

He reached into his pocket
Gave me a ticket
Said it was mine.......

As I looked down to see
A round trip ticket
Back to where I'm needed
In time.......

For he knew
I was a young man
As time would tell.......

 I have road that train
The train to hell......

As Earth Plays

As Earth Play's..............

As the fog rolls in
The still of the night
Slithers away......

As a dead calm
Envelopes the morning
The trees disappear
The colors of green and gold
Turn to white......

At a distance
The highway's disappear
With just the noise of the cars
As they drive away........

Buildings are a blur
As the fog rolls closer
To be only a white mass
Like a sheet over a bed.........

In only hours
It will surrender
As the sun
Draws higher in the sky......

It's rays burning away
The moisture it see's below
To make a perfect afternoon
For all to enjoy........
