My Fall......

As the fall breezes, blow in
I smell the aroma of burning leaves
All brown
Crumbly at your feet......

I feel the coolness of the air
As the temperatures
Try to rise for the day.......

I see the leaves of many trees
The colors
Of each and every one.....

The brilliant reds
Golden browns
Dark ruby
As many other colors follow......

The grass is greener
Morning dew,less heat
Help the way......

People walking
The wearing of sweaters
Maybe a jacket too........

The last of the gardens
Producing the fruits
Of as many plants
As it can do......

Tomatoes of red
Peppers of green
Yellow and Oranges too......

The flowers taking on the blooms
That they have left
I see purple,pink
Yellows and white.....

The season of fall
My personal favorite of all....

A comfort
Perfect weather
Of days and nights....

A time to sit and relax
Watch the leaves
As they glide
From the trees
To the ground....
